Nowadays there are a lot of products that help us lose weight. Among them are special weight loss tea.
Have you tried this yet?
My parents used to have this tea in the house all the time, but i didn't see any difference in their weight.. But maybe it depends from person to person.
What do you think about this special tea?

I see lot of these teas on TV but I haven’t tried one because they cost much more than regular teas. I’m not sure if these really work at all. How can drinking a cup of tea help you reduce some weight?
It doesn’t make sense at all.

I have been tempted to try them but I think deep down I know that there is no such thing as a quick fix, I have to improve my diet and take more exercise. It would be wonderful if a cup of tea really could make a difference!

It actually does. Green tea, for example, can facilitate the burning of calories and fat needed to lose weight. As a bonus, it has caffeine, which will increase thermogenesis (err, I'm not sure what this process is...sorry) and aid you while training. The bad side of green tea is that is has ephedrine (it raises heart rate and blood pressure). One cannot lose weight only by drinking tea, though.

Thermogenesis is the generation of body heat that occurs as a result of normal digestion, absorption, and metabolization of food. (I've searched the dictionary for this one ;)) ). Green tea has some chemicals that, combined, result in an increased percent of thermogenesis. Drinking green green tea regularly will increase your metabolism and help burn fat safely and naturally ( I don't like the taste, so I don't know if it's true). I like drinking tea with a big amount of sugar.

So I presume green tea is not suitable for people who have high blood pressure or heart problems? I have tried green tea, I wasn't impressed by the taste, but I guess you can get used to anything if you think it is doing you good.

Well.. this is some good encouragement, thank you.
I always thought these were some sort of scams, but if you saw a difference then i might change my mind about them.

So.. the tea works you say.. well, this got me thinking, maybe i will try it sometime. Maybe even soon :)
My parents have this kind of tea in the house, but they haven't used it for a while.
Are there different kinds of tea? How do i know which one is good for me?

Besides the famous green tea, I don't know other types that might work in a similar manner. Other kinds of weight loss tea are probably based on the green tea. Asian cultures have consumed green tea in large quantities for centuries. How many fat Asians have you seen? :p They are very rare indeed.

I hate the tea with all my heart so I can't be convinced to drink it for my diet either. And the green tea is having a lot of teine (sp.?) and that is acting like caffeine. And I am not a coffee drinker so I would really lose some sleep.
