Yes, this is a spin-off of the other topic. I was wondering about this, because this can lead you to be discouraged and depressed. I made a mistake of checking my weight everyday instead of once a week and the result was disappointment, needless to say.

I used to do the same thing and it really made me depressed, but at the same time it made me want to try harder to reach my goal. Then I started weighing myself once a week and now I do it about twice a week.

I had some months when I didn't have too much progress. This made me a bit furious on myself, but I didn't give up. Sometimes a drawback is possible and we shouldn't be too scared about this. As long as we keep on the program we enrolled, the next weigh in might bring some good news ;)

I feel okay if I see that my weight remains the same..it just means I have to work harder or improve my diet..:D

In my case, it's a sign that I'm on the right track, because I tend to gain weight easily. Sure, I'm disappointed, but it's not like the sky has fallen or something. I just have to try harder...The good thing is that I rarely get angry, I know deep inside that I'm capable of going all the way.

I don't check my weight every day, but there are times when I don't loose too much weight or any at all. I kind of feel frustrated, but it's an impulse for me to try harder and not give up. Some people feel so thwarted and angry with everyone that it doesn't even occur to them that something must have gone wrong and that they must try again. I try to not be like that.

Hmm.. this never happened to me.
I weight myself from time to time and i only saw improvement so far.
I do sometimes "cheat", i admit i ate some chocolate during these times and that cannot be good, but i didn't overdo it and i keep loosing the kilograms :D
I guess i wouldn't get discouraged if it happened to me. The body is complicated and i guess i just have to keep trying..

Oh my.. i feel a bit discouraged. Sad and unhappy.. but then i try and think positive and the hope comes back :)
I've been dieting for some months now and at first it always showed how i was improving, but there were months in which i weight myself and i have the same weight as i did the last month.. At first i felt very dissapointed, but as time went by, i see that it's not such a big deal.

I'm devastated. i want to lose weight overnight if possible, but it's not something that would happen. After I get really down, I just think that overall I made progress and that the diet/exercise does work. So, I try to be positive about this and focus on trying to lose that weight and not come up with excuses anymore.
