I find them very interesting. Some motivate me, some just say the naked truth about people and food. I'll mention a couple quotes I remember:
No man in the world has more courage than the man who can stop after eating one peanut. (Channing Pollock)
After dinner sit a while, and after supper walk a mile. (English proverb)
In general, mankind, since the improvement in cookery, eats twice as much as nature requires. (Benjamin Franklin)

Food should be fun. (Thomas Keller)
Food is your body's fuel. Without fuel, your body wants to shut down. (Ken Hill)
Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread and pumpkin pie. (Jim Davies)
We think fast food is equivalent to pornography, nutritionally speaking. (Steve Elbert)
We should look for someone to eat and drink with before looking for something to eat and drink... (Epicurus)

Steven Wright - “The hardness of the butter is proportional to the softness of the bread.”
Tommy Smothers - “Red meat is not bad for you. Now blue-green meat, that's bad for you!”
Ernestine Ulmer - “Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first.”
Socrates - “Eat to live, not live to eat.”
the last quote is the most famous one ever.
