Is pasta good for diet? I know that pasta is a great source of carbohydrates. But too many carbs means that the fat is stored, right? Can someone cleat this story for me? I know that Sophia Loren once said that "Everything you see I owe to spaghetti". But she also said that " it's not pasta which makes you fat, but what you put on it."

Well, if Sophia Loren said it, I'd take it anyday!
Anyway, I'm a pasta freak and I must say, I never felt like it contributed to my weight. Perhaps she was right in saying that what you put on pasta is the problem.

I heard that pasta is fattening... my mom always used to tell me this.
Either way.. i'm in luck, bacause i don't enjoy it that much. I like it in combinations with vegetables but i never likes pasta with chese or tomatoe juice..

I love pasta.. i can't see myself with no pasta in my diet. I don't eat it every day, but 2-3 times a week i like to cok myself some macaroni and cheese. Tey may be fattening a bit, but they are not that harmfull is i eat them with measure.
