1 1/2 lb fish fillets (freshwater fish)
2 cups of water (or enough to cover the fish)
1/4 cup finely-chopped onion
2 parsley sprigs
3 whole peppercorns
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp salt
1 slice of lemon
Cut the fish into several portions. Add the water into a large skillet (frying pan), salt, lemon, onion, parsley, bay leaf and peppercorns. Bring to boil for 5 minutes. After that, add the fish and reduce heat. Covet the skillet and simmer 6 to 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily
with a fork.
