In many cases having the family support can really help one succeed. Their encouragement and good ideas can make the difference between a good weight loss result and a fiasco.
How much does your family help you in this matter? Are they right by your side? Do they mock at you?

My family was supportive from the start.
Ever since i was a child a was very chubby but they told me to wait until i get older to start a diet. Now i am older and they are totally suportive with this.
They cook me special meals when i visit and they always let me know how good i look :)
Unbelievable

Well, my family doesn't really get involved in this weight loosing diet of mine. I've told them and they've been supportive, but I don't expect any help from them because I've decided to do this on my own. They've neither encouraged or discouraged me because they accept the fact that I have a pretty independent personality and if I set my mind to do something, I will at least try to do that no matter how much they oppose.

My family is great. They encourage me even if they do not agree to the dieting. But they understand i need to do this..
They said to me at first that a diet is not ok for the body, that i need all my vitamins and everything, but now they understand me and they are totally supportive.

My family.. hmm.. At first they were against this. They told me that dieting would destroy my metabolism and so on... but i kept telling them on and on how important this is to me and how fat i look and eventually i think they understood.
I can't say they support me all the time, but they seem to be ok with it, which is also good ;)

I don’t think that they are concerned at all so I’m trying to do it on my own. I never get any support from them ever since I was a little boy so I will never ask for their support now. I think that by now, I’m already used to it.

My family doesn't really show much interest. My dad sometimes buys me low fat food and poultry meat from the farmers market. He seems to be the only one interested about my health. But if I visit my mother, she asks me if I eat enough because I've lost weight. Strange thing, huh?

My family is supporting me and they know about this. I wanted to lose weight for many years and tried some diets already that didn't work. They were by my side all this time and this means a lot to me

They make sure I eat only my diet food and also help me with the entire weight loss thing. They encourage me, telling me how nice this works out and how good I look now. it's very important for me too having them on my side. i am a determined guy, but sometimes even I need some support
