Do people mock at you because of the weight? Do you feel somehow rejected..?

I used to feel like this when i was younger; i was the fat one in my class :) My colleagues made fun of me but i didn't cave. I am glad i didn't, i lost weight with dignity, not because people mocked me.

There are though lots of people who feel rejected because of this.
I think it's wrong to feel this way, but still.. some do .

What's your case?

It's so stupid for people to mock at overweight coleagues, but people are mean indeed. I also need to get into a better shape and can sometimes feel the pity looks in other people's eyes. I just try to ignore and lose weight for myself and my health, not because of them.

I remember that a lot of people do mock me at work. I’m thinking of giving them the same treatment when I got thinner, so that they would know what they are doing. It’s kind of a sweet revenge on my part and also to show how I feel back then.

I think that it is rather selfish of them to mock the fat guys just like that. This guys have a feeling too. They shouldn’t do to others what they don’t like others to do upon them. This general saying is too old but it is really important not to forget it.

Some do, some don't.
I have friends who even tell me i don't need to do this, and friends who tell me i need to do this. They do not mock me that much, and i really don't mind if they were.
I know how i feel and some bad words won't make me fall down..
But the maority of my friends are totally ok with how i look :)

Well, I do feel different. I am aware that I don't look as good as the other guys and some people who lacked the tact needed were always willing to make me feel like a freak show. I have lost some weight lately and I feel better now. There are lots of stupid ideas people have about us and these ideas made my life pretty miserable for years. Now it's all gonna change

It's very harsh of people to make fun of those who are fat. The thing they should be doing is to suggest a productive course to help them lose weight, because nobody truly wants to be fat.

I feel only a tad different. I sometimes feel a bit ashamed to go to the pool but i think tomyself that maybe by next year i will be ok :)
When i am out with friends or at school i try and dress up with somewhat larger clothes, soi wouldn't look to chubby and i feel ok.

Well I do feel different because I know I am not like the others or at least i am not like others think I should be. I was mocked at too, but I try to not mind that much. now I look better and also feel better too. My weight problem has a solution now and I am working hard on it.
