Music is good therapy.
It can set you in different moods and can make you smile and feel better about yourself.
I think we should listen to music a lot.. good music, whichever we like and makes us stronger.
It is not necessarily a source of inspiration, but it is good for the soul.

Maybe this is the reason why some Gym is having music while you are working out (if not all). I think that we can’t get tired easily if we are listening to our favorite music. I’m not really sure if this is true, but I sure like to listen to a good music while I’m working out.

I remember that I used to listen to music while I went for a jog. I think that it help to keep our mind away from thinking that we are already tired. Indeed, music will definitely help you on exercising.

Music helps me like nothing else while working out. It definitely keeps my mind off of it.

Music just helps me continue to exercise. Without it, I am constantly aware that I'm working out and I get to thinking about how tired I'm getting, etc. With music though, it just becomes an enjoyable thing.

I exercise at home with music too. It pumps me and I also get a nice rhythm to work on. Sometimes I try to push myself more to catch the next song too. As long as I am listening to something I like, it all works nicely.

Actually, I've also tried turning on a movie while exercising at home. That really helps, too! Sometimes it works even better than listening to music. It's kind of like eating while watching TV, only this one's healthy.

The movies or a TV show are also a good help to get me distracted from the fact I sweat my fat out :D
I have some music I have played when I need to exercise too. It keeps my mind occupied and I am not getting that bored during all those repetitions.

I don't like to listen to music, it makes me feel stressed and annoyed. I prefer to have the radio on in the background whatever I am doing. My favourite radio station doesn't have music. I guess we are all different.

Oh yeah, the best weight loss anthem is Olivia Newton John - Physical! :D
Seriously speaking, a couple of energizing beats really invigorate me. My children also dance while I'm working out, so it's good for them too. Sometimes I listen to hip hop music with "upset" lyrics (censored, of course), sometimes I work out on recently dance hits or catchy trance tunes. Hmm...this thread made me think about Eric Prydz - Call on me. I wonder why...

I need very upbeat music for working out..For me music makes or breaks my workout...If I find good music (I only listen to the radio) then I work twice as hard compared to when I find okay music or slow music....

Music? No, thank you. I prefer to count very loud the reps. I just can't focus on the workout anymore. I need to hear my own thoughts. If I listen to music, I train slower because I stop to sing the lyrics, I'm distracted or something. Maybe music without lyrics.

Music is very imortant to me.
I cook with music, it makes me feel happier.
When i go to the gym i usually listen to music on the road, it makes me walk faster (i go by foot or with my bicycle..)
At the gym we don't always have music, but thank god for batteries :D I have my ipod and listen to upbeat music to give me energy :)
