Some are saying that drinking beer is good for you because it can help on digesting the food that you eat. So, whenever you are attending some party, try to drink some in moderate. Do you drink beer?

I cannot drink since it kind of makes me sick :D but from what i know beer is quite fattening.
I have friends who drink beer often and they have big bellies. My mom also started to drink beer from time to time and it shows.
Maybe there are different kinds of beers, but from what i know they are not our best friends when fighting with extra kilogams.

I heard that too. I don't really know if this is really true, but some experts are saying that it can help us digest more foods on our intestine. I think that beer can be fattening too, if you will drink a lot (anything taken more than enough is bad).

I keep myself from drinking it since I really like it and I don't want to have a beer belly too, with all this weight problem. Even if it can be good for the digestion, the meals I have are already easy to digest and I also exercise so that I won't have more pounds building up.

I think wine would be a better solution. I drink it with my meal like the French and that's supposed to be healthy. With beer, I'm not as enthusiastic because even one can is a lot for me. It makes me too full and that's not good.

I also drink beer occasionally. I don’t drink whenever I’m having a meal but from what I heard it can help on the digestion. I would advise this to those who eats a lot. Just make sure that you aren’t you aren’t making it as a habit.

I think it's a guy thing mostly. I don't like beer either. I drink 1 beer every 2-3 years, so I can't see myself as a serious drinker. I never fancied alcohol in any form of it. And if I don't like it that much, I never considered it for a diet

I never drink alcohol, I believe it is quite fattening and I have enough trouble trying to lose weight as it is. I am trying to drink less tea and soft drinks and more water. They say it is healthy to drink lots of water.

Alcohol causes you to gain weight. I mean, you drink a can or two, you get dizzy and you don't focus on your diet or on your goals for that day. Also, it's pretty bad for the liver. Liver problems equals weight loss or gain. But hey, with 2 beers a week and a lot of exercises you'll be in good shape.

Beer is fattening or so I've heard. That may be, of course, because most people who drink beer don't stick to a diet or do exercise. I don't believe that it can interfere with a diet, I've never heard of such a thing. I drink beer occasionally, but I don't usually drink alcohol because I'm not used to being dizzy and hangovers make me really ill...

If you drink alcohol you gain the extra calories from whatever you are drinking, many people also snack when they drink socially e.g. crisps, peanuts, etc. Then after a night out they feel hungry and buy junk food, did anybody ever eat a kebab when sober!

I try to avoid drinking beer. I drunk beer and I started to get fat so from that experience I try as much as I can not to drink anymore , I`m on a diet now and I can`t risk to get fat again. Sometimes when I go to a party all drink beer and I`m the only one who drinks juice :(

This is an interesting topic. I'm a big fan of Guinness beer and I drink a six-pack every week. When alcohol is present, the liver goes to work on it immediately. The liver clears out the toxins in the body, so alcohol is a toxin. Simple. But I don't drink it on an empty stomach, I drink beer after I eat.

I also am a fan of Guinness :) To bad it is a tad expensive in my area, but come to think about it, it's actually a good thing. This way i keep myself away from it because beer fattens.
Of course, i do drink some beer occasionally, but not regularly.

Looks like us, the girls, are not into this beer thing too much :D

I don't like beer either, I just hate it when my hubby smells of it. I heard it's a good thing since it's made out of natural ingredients, but I just don't like it. And I dislike being tipsy (and this would happen even after 2 sips)
