Default Has anyone lost weight by eating cheese?

I know it sounds mad, but I've heard this in more than one place. Apparently cheese contains something that actually makes you burn more fat.

Has anyone else heard about this, or actually tried uptaking their intake of cheese and had some success with it?

One of the reasons I ask is because I used to eat a ton of cheese. Literally every main meal I would just cover the thing in grated cheese. Could get through a 400g block in 3 or 4 days. And I was alot thinner than I am now....
